Baby Zion born at 38 weeks and four days

Let's start from the beginning so Saturday(dec 12) I went to the ER for bad period like cramps that wouldn't stop. They checked me said I was 3.6cm dilated but my contractions were irregular and not strong enough to keep me. Disappointed I went home and continued to plan for my Christmas baby- his original due date. Tuesday( dec 15) was just a normal day for me relaxing watching tv, started getting period like cramps again so decided to take a bath. Sat down to pee while my water was running and I heard a "pop" and a small trickle of pinkish water came out of me. Still naive I kept running my water and yet more fluid came out. I decided it was time and got my bags and everything ready. His father was currently at work so I didn't want to bother him in case it was a false alarm so I drove myself to the ER. Arrived at the ER got admitted and that's when the real contractions hit they checked me and I was already at 5 and 1/2 cm dilated so I decided to try go awhile without an epidural. One hour later at 7cm I couldn't take the pain anymore got the epidural a few good pushes and my son was born! Six hours of labor no rips no tears God blessed me with a beautiful labor and beautiful baby boy. 7lbs 9 ounces of love
