I'm currently 16,3 weeks pregnant and we had a scare this morning. Woke up to pee and wiped bright red blood.  Since it's sundaymorning I did not hesitate and went to the ER to get myself and baby checked out. The bleeding had stopped and it came from placenta praevia marginalis, a placenta that's sitting right next to your cervix. It makes you prone to bleeds and you need to take it easy. Baby was doing just fine and my cervix was fully closed! If you ever bleed. Don't  panic and get yourself checked out! I know understand that i have to take it easy to ensure both my and baby's health.
