What would happen if u herd ur son having sex with a girl? What would you do?  They were home before i was home to i guess they thought that  i was coming home late. What would you think of the girl after words?

Why would you only have to think something of the girl? It was your son shagging her. Just talk about safe sex with them together or with just your son

I must commend the other commenters, I would NOT be so understanding. There will be NO sex by minors in my house. She would not be welcome back. 16 is not the legal age in all states and even if it was, my house, my rules. There would be a long talk with my son and I would call the girls parents as well. My husband and I would discuss the rest of what would happen. Call me old fashion.....

Once i turned 16 my mum let me have my bf stay over or me stay at his as in her words she would rather know where i was and i was been safe than have the unknown. If they are going to do it they will find somewhere regardless. Just make it clear you want them to be safe in what they are doing. Schools have sex education so they should be more than aware of the implications of unsafe sex

If they're both 16, they legally can have sex. I'm 16, and I would be extremely embarrassed if my boyfriends mom confronted us about it. And I can tell you they will continue to do it. But if you have a talk with your son about the risks and since they will most likely keep doing it anyway, teach him about protection. It would have happened at one point or another, but im sure its awkward and uncomfortable for you as well as them if they knew you heard them. Its part of life and they do legally have the right to be doing it. And I can tell you just because she's doing it with him shouldnt make you think any different of her.

I was 16 when my first experience and my mum just told me about birth control but at that age they would have do sex education at school  and will know about it. its embrassing but needs to be spoken about

I've witnessed this situation with my aunt and cousin. His girlfriend would swing by their house when my aunt was out working and would hook up, eventually his girlfriend ended up getting pregnant. It was extremely stressful for my aunt, since the girlfriend's parents disowned her and sent her packing to my aunts home to have the baby. In this situation, and what you're going through, is definitely awful. Not only has your son and his girlfriend betrayed your trust, theirs also a possibility they weren't protected. You should definitely talk to your son and his girlfriend, make sure their safe and advise his girlfriend to talk to her parents as well. If she's late, it's obvious to set an appointment with the ob/gyn or take a pregnancy test.

I would have confronted  them. After the fact. I wouldn't  that going  on. That happened  to me in high school they called my parents  of they didn't  care, but his mom was pretty appalled.  she didn't  treat me different  and I was still very respectful around her.
