Period Too Heavy...?

Question

At what point is a period heavy enough to contact a doctor? I've been bleeding a lot this cycle and have had an exessive amount of ... clots? It doesn't hurt more than normal and I'm always a heavy bleeder but I'm worried this might be too much. Thoughts?

I had this problem and was told if you are soaking through a super tampon or pad within 2 hours or less for more than 2-3 days, then it's cause for concern. I did this for almost 2 weeks and found out I had a small uterine polyp that had to be removed. Haven't had an issue since.

I would say if your soaking through a super tampon in 2hrs or less.
