They will show a disinterest in the baby or her normal routine. Sometimes they could get the weepies. And sometimes it could escalate to postpartum psychosis. Those are extreme cases but I've seen it happen. Just try to ensure their safety and if you feel it needs to be addressed by a professional then take steps to do so.
