Marriage.... ugh.

Duv • I`m 28 years old and in an amazing relationship. I have 2 children from another relationship (1 girl 1 boy) and he also has two from a previous relationship(2 boys). We now have 2 girls together also. Family of 8 and loving it.
First off let me explain... my boyfriend and I are in an amazing relationship. I have 2 kids from a previous marriage and he has 2 kids from a previous marriage and we are currently 11 weeks pregnant. He. Keeps talking about proposing to me because we do want to marry each other. I love him very much and would love to spend the rest of my life with him. BUT I don't want to get engaged while I'm pregnant. I feel like people would only think we did it because of the baby. Am I weird for feeling this way?
