Should my husband come with me to all doctors appointments??

Idk if it would be weird if he came? Is that a normal thing?!?

I'm bringing my hubby to all the ones he can go to. It's nice for him to be involved in the process. Also, it's good to have another person there to help you hear everything the doctor says and help ask questions you might not have thought of or remembered to ask. I especially want him there for things like ultrasounds because those will help make this more real for him since he can't feel the baby or the pregnancy symptoms.

Not necessarily. My husband has a pretty serious job with the federal govt so I wouldn't make him leave work unless it was an important appointment, maybe like gender reveal, etc. I'm a grown woman, I can handle the appointments without him holding my hand. But that's just me. If he wanted to come to all of them, that's his decision.

I was wondering the same thing this morning!

Husband didn't come to do pee test but did come for ultrasound confirmation and that was good. I want him to come to my follow-up because we might get to see/hear the heartbeat, but it's really iffy if he'll be able to with work. I was upset at first, since it's all just so scary. Eventually just had to be okay with it because I'm not divorcing him over it lol.

Yes i would i did not want to go alone he helps calm my nervous and ask more questions then i did it was super cute you should both do it together

It's not weird. If he wants to go, he should! My husband is only coming to the ultrasounds and any "important" ones. I told him I mainly expected him to be at the 3 ultrasounds and the birth. It's just hard for him to get work off to come to every appointment when it's basically just listening to the heart beat and asking questions

My husband works swing shift and with our first I was doing 12 hour day shifts. He came when he was able, and I tried to schedule the appts so he could be there but it didn't always happen. He missed the first ultrasound and really regretted it.  He went to the appt when they do the pelvic and it freaked him out lol. With this one, I'm not working but we have a two year old and no sitter, so he will go to the ultrasounds and maybe some others but mainly he will be watching our monkey.

Mine came with me to all of my appts during my first pregnancy, a handful or my second, and I don't foresee him coming to many (other than important ultrasound ones) this time. We both decided on that each time. I became more comfortable and appts became a bit routine...esp because I'm considered high risk and he'd be having to leave work A LOT to make it to all of them.
