How many people plan to travel for the holidays?

Anyone doing a road trip or plane ride after 30 weeks? I will be 32 weeks and my hubby wants to go for a 4-6 hour drive to visit family for xmas.. how do you feel about travel in the third trimester?

We are doing a 5 hour road trip tomorrow. Not too concerned. Just take breaks to move your legs around.

I drove 12.5 hours on Saturday and I'm 32.5 weeks. And yes i did all the driving. 🙈

My husband is going to see his family for Christmas and I was instructed not to leave by my obgyn. His family is in Louisiana and mine is Oregon, we are in KC. I'll be spending it with my pups and little kicker. His mom passed away suddenly this August and needs to be home this year, I completely encouraged him to go home. Otherwise he would have stayed with me. Sad I won't be there, but a 14 hour drive at 33 weeks??  Not happening.

I drove 12 hours to get home. It was lame. I did have my midwife print my file just in case.

Just something to consider, some insurances won't cover travel outside a certain milage after x number of weeks. I'm all for traveling believe me but I personally would double check just IN CASE something happens.... I'm probably just paranoid lol

Currently on a road trip to my hubby's family 5 hours away. 8 months pregnant is definitely not a fun time to be stuck in a car that long 😖

My ob told me all is well until 3 weeks then it's time to stay put! I will be taking a 3 hr trip myself

I'll be taking a 5 hour trip when I'm 35 weeks, my OB said as long as up until then I'm fine, then it's fine for me to go. They're not really concerned about travel until 37 weeks unless you're high risk.
