Nipple balm/cream

I'm a FTM and unfortunately my nipples get a bit cracked from breast feeding. I spoke to the doctor and the doctor suggested lanolin or Vaseline, as it's safe to apply on nipple and safe for baby to taste/consume. But I was wondering if there is something natural/organic or so that any of you suggest which won't only help hydrate the nipple but is safe for the baby
