Second pregnancy?

I have a beautiful 6 month old daughter.  And I had HG throughout my entire pregnancy until the moment I delivered. It cause alot of complications and I was in the hospital alot. Has anyone ever had a pregnancy afterwards and not have the problems of HG?

I’m on my second HG baby. I will say that starting medication sooner has helped. The moment I got a positive my Midwife prescribed my medication and I started it at week 6. I’m currently in week 9 and only had two hospital stays vs the 5 times I had to go just during weeks 6-8 with my first.

My mum had HG with me, her first baby. She was hospitalized for a few months, lost about 30+ pounds, had to have a feeding tube. This was in 1989.  She went on to have 6 more kids, (5 more pregnancies) and did not have HG again!! This is my first baby and the HG has been horrible... I can only hope that if/when the next baby comes around, I'm as lucky as my mum. Time will tell.

No, I'm on my third HG pregnancy, second baby. It has gotten worse with each pregnancy, but my treatment has gotten more aggressive, so it's actually overall, better. Your daughter is only 6 months old. Try to enjoy her and forget about HG for a while. I know it's harder said than done, but leave that evil beast at the door for now. And when you're ready for another baby, if HG strikes again, prepare yourself before hand with a good doctor and all the lastest research and literature. GL.

Following- I'm 34+2 with my first and suffering from HG, gallbladder issues and pancreatitis. I'm having a boy, will also want a baby girl, but this has been MISERABLE!
