Husband is a turd.
So I got my husband a yeti cup he's been wanting for a while. It was a splurge, $40 cups are not in our budget for real. The man didn't even say thank you. You could tell he was excited to finally get one. I also had him a long letter about how much he means to me, how thankful I am that he works hard takes care of our family, what a good daddy he is, and that he deserves to get things he wants.... And all this is true so i didn't say anything when he didn't say thank you.
He then played on his phone the rememander of the evening instead of paying attention to our daughter, while my 7 month pregnant butt cleaned up the huge dinner I cooked. Cleaned up all thre wrapping paper. Took out the trash during a storm while it's raining. Unloaded/loaded the dishwasher. Washed a load of clothes. Other little stuff.
Oh and guess who didn't get me a gift this year to top it off. (That doesn't really surprise me, but icing on my cake since he can't say thank you.)
