Ok, so my son has never had a temp this high, so please give me any advice. His temp is 101.6 and I know it's not a temp that I need to rush him to the ER for but it is very freaky sense this is the first time in his young life he has had one over 100. It went from 100.6 to 101.6 in a matter of seconds. He is teething at the moment, I believe he has 4 coming in right now (he won't let me get a good look) I have read that a fever and teething have nothing to do with each other but I don't know if I believe that. He has a runny and stuffy nose and he bites his fingers and pulls his ears and smacks his face so I know he is in pain. Do any of you mom's think they go together. Another thing, his head is HOT but the rest of his body isnt. Sorry FTM so this is literally the first time I have delt with this. TIA merry Christmas and happy holidays!!
