I hate feeling like I'm materialistic, but I'm so upset right now. My SO didn't get me anything for Christmas or even tell me merry Christmas. We have been dating almost 4 years now and live together. Everyone was literally exchanging gifts and opening them, except for me. He even bought our roommate something (new taillights for his truck). It's really frustrating considering that our roommate isn't even paying rent right now. I would have even been happy with a card honestly.

I even asked him last week if I could get a dog for Christmas since mine ran away a few years back. My friend was giving away her beagle dog because she works too much. He told me no, but then he let our roommate go and get a lab mix without a problem. He didn't even ask me if it was okay.

I'm sorry. I'm just really frustrated right now.
