How to stop your hair from getting puffy?

So i want  to get this hairstyle. I want  to  cut my hair this short. But i don't  want  my hair to get puffy is there something i can do to  prevent  it?

Using good products withing the shower (I.e. Shampoo and conditioner) and good gels and crémes are what you need. I would turn to either Biolage, Redken, Purology or Joico. Honestly it just takes a little extra effort for these kinds of things, and try sticking to professional products since those are designed for exquisite hair, try to avoid drug store products. What I generally do to straighten my hair is start with a blow out and then use a flexi rod set. Comes out good. And then a day or two I'll turn the style into a pinapple. I love the 🍍 life lol
