Do you agree?

Last night when all my husbands family was over I was talking to my sister-in-law and I told her I would like to go to college and put my son in day care. She made the comment "I don't plan on getting a job. Why would I have someone else raise my kids when I can raise them myself?". This pissed me off so I told her that I want to make my own income and not have to depend on my husband. What do you agree with? I don't think either one is a bad idea but it made me angry she and to say something like that. Honestly I just think she's lazy. That's why she doesn't want a job.
