My husband never had a great relationship with his father he left when his mother when he was 8 years old for another women and basically never bothered with him.. last year when we got married he and his step mother  came to our apartment which was a surprise becuz I've never seen them before make along story short they don't like me and I made them feel like they were at home there but I was told I stole his son from him and blah blah blah so I haven't talked to them since last October they never congratulated my husband on our pregnancy and I feel bad becuz I want them to be involved but they probably never will so idk what to do im not ganna apologize for marrying his son and I'm not ganna kiss no ones ass but u would think he would wanna be some sort of a grandfather what should I do call and ask if there ganna come to my baby shower or be there when he or she is born ???
