Getting pre-pregnancy body back?

Lucylu
Mommys out there who have already had your babies any advise on how to shed baby weight? Teas you drank, diets, excersises that you felt worked? Also any specific under wear that helped with flattening stomach? I am sure many mommies will appreciate any feed back! TIA

I was 145lbs before pregnancy and up to 226lbs with baby and this is 5 days postpartum. I'm 13 days postpartum now and can tell I've lost even more. It has fallen off faster than I thought.

Eat a healthy balanced diet with lots of veggies, stay super hydrated, ease into exercise by swimming or going on walks with your baby, and avoid junk food/fast food/soda.The more fresh raw veggies in your diet the better. Skip dressings, sauces, and salt.

I am using spandex and a waist trainer. It seems to be working. So far I've lost 17 pounds while wearing it. I'm 1 week and 3 days pp

That's an average weight loss after giving birth. You start losing all the extra water weight, you've expelled the baby and placenta, and your uterus starts shrinking.

Breast feeding, healthy diet, and walking. I walked a lot with my daughter. You have to wait till you're cleared to exercise and don't want to do it too early cause if you do you can really mess up your muscle structure. But by 6 weeks pp I was down to 125.I'm hoping I have the same luck this time around.

This is my second kid I was stuck 20 pounds over my pre baby weight and then I did spin in the morning and hot yoga at night dropped it in a month! It was hard work and discipline.

They really just fall off! I gained 81 with my first and lost ALL of it without exercising. It took about 11 months, but I didn't diet or exercise. With my second, I gained 40 and lost it all in 3 months. I started exercising two months postpartum (it took a while for me to get motivated because she was a stillborn). I lost all of it in 5 weeks.

With my first child I started walking long distances every morning and evening with bub and once my scar healed tummy crunches and squats every night. I also found that doing dance was a fun way to shed the extra mummy tummy ( when I found the time) :) xo
