Cervix check?

When did your dr start checking your cervix? I'm almost 32 weeks and his head is already down and very deep so I'm just curious when they should start checking. Thank you!

Mine started at 36 weeks and it's so discouraging hearing I made no progress. But also cervical checks give you no indication of when you'll go into labor. 😔

Mine was at 34 weeks because I was having preterm contractions and they wanted to make sure no labor. I'm 38+5 now and am only 2cm dilated.

I'll be almost 33 weeks for my next appointment and have yet to be checked. And my boy is also very low and making me feel he's coming early.. I'm going to ask at my next appointment if she can check before she does the group B test..

Mine actually doesn't check until labor. She said it's not an indicator as to when you'll go into labor and it just messes with women's heads.

My Dr doesn't do them unless you ask and after 36 weeks. I asked for one at my appt tomorrow-37 weeks- just cuz I'm curious if I'm making any progress at all.
