Geritol and Mucinex?

I saw people on here recommending both for ttc. How do these help? Has anyone tried one or the other?

Mucinex helped me conceive twice now. You take it a couple days before your fertile window and throughout it.  it thins your cervical mucus. This helps sperm move easier and stay alive longer.

Used geritol for three months and nothing..... It didn't work for me but I think there may be something else. Seeing a specialist in January.

Geritol is kind of a wives tale, from what I understand. The company has said they don't have anything to back up that it helps conceiving. That being said I added it to my routine and got pregnant. Not sure if it was the vitamins or other things I added that month. The liquid tastes horrible but gets into your system faster then pills.

Never used mucinex, I used preseed to help with CM issues.
