Attatchment parenting - returning to work...help?

Stephanie

I don't know that I fit the bill for "attatchment parenting" but I feel pretty "attatched." I breastfeed on demand and, though I tried so very hard not to, I co-sleep. My LO *sometimes* will sleep for 2-3 hours when I put him down, but a lot of the time only a very fidgety 30ish minutes. The only time I put him down is during the day when I have to get something done...at night he is glued to me - of my own choosing. He will nurses often and loves to use me as a pacifier.

I don't have a problem with any of this, in fact - I love it. The only thing is I HAVE to go back to work...Hubby and I just can't swing it for me to be a sahm right now even though we'd both love for that to happen. He will be going to a babysitter instead of daycare but she has lots of other littles as well.

Have any of you dealt with this before? I'm worried my baby will just miss me and cry all day :(

P.s. though I would probably breastfeed on demand anyway, I am now bc LO needs to gain more weight.
