Hello! This is my 4th pregnancy and I'm 14 weeks. I have had GD with all of my other pregnancies and randomly started checking my BS recently. My tastings for the last 2 days are in the 120s and I'm having some high numbers during the day as well. My OB wants to send me for the 1-hour GTT which I know I will fail. But I feel like I should just go ahead and go in and take the GD diagnosis without taking the test so I can get started on meds. Would you just go in or would you take the GTT and then have to wait a week or so for the results? My gut is telling me to just make an appt and go in but curious as to what others would do!
