Brown discharge: miscarriage?

I'm in week 7, slightly cramping once in a while. This morning I had a tiny amount of brown discharge when wiping after using the loo. Could it be miscarriage?

Sorry for the experience. With my first, I had light brown spitting for a few weeks and everything  was OK with my pregnancy. I had insane cramping for the first 3 months of my pregnancy so I was quite shaken up about every different color discharge that appeared. As long as you're not seeing bright red and soaking a pad every hour, this sounds normal. The brown means it's older blood that your body is expelling possibly from implantation or a hematoma that developed at the beginning of the pregnancy. Take it easy for 24 hours and all should be well. If you're still experiencing brown discharge after 72 hours, I would contact your OB. GOOD LUCK!

I had some brown blood early on with a couple of my pregnancies, as long as its not bright red or a lot I wouldn't worry too much, but if its concerning you can always give your ob a call just for peice of mind.

Brown and pink in spotting amounts is fine. If it's red and in heavier amounts then it's a cause for concern.

My wife had spotting on and off from 4 weeks to 9 weeks. Pink brown and red once. Everything was fine. As long as it isn't a lot and clotting

Most likely  implementation bleeding. Have done the same thing  since 6 weeks  and i am 10.5 now. Baby is healthy and  has great  HB. If it turns red or if the cramping  gets severe  go the ER or call  your doctor.
