Rough time after birth
Just want to get my story out there incase it may help someone.
First off, I had an amazing c section. And I have a healthy baby girl. Which is all that matters but I still feel like I had it rough.
In the hospital I developed a rash, days after I got home it got a lot worse. Covered my whole body itchy was an understatement. Called my gynecologist he said it was Puppps and I should just treat it at home. 3 days later it was unbearable so I went in and they thought it was chicken pox. I was told not to be around my daughter until we found out what it was. Went to walk in care they couldn't tell me what it was. 4 days later we got results that it wasn't chicken pox. Rash still hadn't gone away at my 2 week postpartum appt so they sent me to a dermatologist. They brought 4 Drs in and decided it was Puppps. I'm 5 weeks postpartum and still have the rash.
At my 2 week appt I had high blood pressure (I was low my whole pregnancy) I was diagnosed with toxemia and put on blood pressure meds.
With every thing that went on I was unable to breastfeed for long. I could not get my supply up. I stopped after 3 weeks.
