Hello! I am currently 6w3d pregnant. I miscarried at the end of August. I am very excited to be pregnant again, but naturally very concerned. I had my blood work done last week 12/21 at 5 weeks. My HCG was 6492. They had me come back a week later to repeat on 12/28 at 6 weeks. They called today to tell me it was now 33670. The nurse said this was great, but after thinking about the numbers I realized that the levels were not doubling every 48 hours. They were doubling somewhere between 48-72 hours. I read that as levels get higher or once you reach a certain point it takes longer to double. However, I always see the 48 hour thing. Does anyone have experience with this? Does this increase seem okay? 33670 seemed to be in the range for 6 weeks, I'm just hung up on the 48 hour thing. Thanks everyone!
