1st round worked.. Second didn't.

My first round of clomid worked beautifully. I ovulated and conceived. Sadly it ended in miscarriage at 5 weeks... 3 months later I am on my second round. 5 to 9 again. Doctor called no ovulation... Its CD 29 no sign of AF either. What gives? Has this happened to anyone else?
