My boyfriend of a year and a half told me a long time ago that he used to use plentyoffish.com to meet women. When we started dating he obviously stopped using it. A few weeks ago I was using his phone and went to his texts and there was a text that he sent to someone saying "hey its Chris from POF" the texts were kind of weird from there. the girl on the other side sent pics of herself because he requested them. I saw that she wasn't that attractive and he didn't text back after she sent the pics. He blocked her actually.

I confronted him immediately and he said this person has been trying to call him and has sent texts but he had no idea who it was so his "brilliant" idea was to make this person think hes into them and send pics so he'd know who it was for sure. I said that made no freaking sense but he stuck to that story. He claims you can't get rid of a POF account completely and that's how that person got his number in the first place.

I just don't get it. He's not the type to go on a dating app to get girls at all. He's not the type to cheat either. The whole thing upsets me to this day even though I decided to move on and hopefully trust him again. What do you guys think?? ://

I don't wanna throw our relationship away everything is great now but I cannot get over this.
