I'm 38 weeks today and go to a practice with multiple doctors. For the last two weeks at my weekly checks the doctors said my cervix was thinning, baby's head was very low and I was a fingertip dilated. Today I see a doctor I've never seen before & she says that she isn't sure why the other doctors said my cervix was progressing because it isn't. She then went on to say I shouldn't get my hopes up that I'll have her by my due date. I left feeling completely discouraged & unsure who to believe at this point. Has anyone had different doctors say such drastically different things?
