Haven't announced yet ?

Is there anyone who hasn't announced yet (family,friends or on Facebook) ? I feel like I'm the only one. I'll be a FTM , I'm constantly worrying but being i'm almost 19 weeks I think it's time. I'm thinking about making an official announcement January 6th. Is there anyone who understands!

I'm not going to announce anything on social media. At all. But friends and family know. Those that are a bit further away found out via our holiday card/announcememt😁

Close family knows, but that's about it for me and I'm 19 weeks. This is our first and I'm not really nervous? I've been sick the whole time but healthy! Ours is more for cultural reasons. We're Muslim and there is a religious concept called "the evil eye", which can be caused by jealousy and such, and families are very protective of the mother and baby during the pregnancy. For example a lot of moms will want you to say "Masha'Allah" when complimenting a child (it means, through God this gift is possible) so that God is always thanked for the blessing.

I doubt we'll really tell people until my belly is obvious. My best friend knows and I know if I hadn't told her I'd be going crazy. I really don't like attention anyways so I don't mind :)

We had to announce pretty early (14 weeks) because i was HUGE! Not able to hide it.  After 3 miscarriages, i could have waited till she was in my arms before i was really comfortable telling the world 😉

Some family and friends no, but nothing public or on social media. This is our rainbow baby! We lost our first November 2014 at this time in the pregnancy, month 5, so we decided to wait til we pass it to announce completely.

I was 19 weeks before my husband and I announced it to our families.. and still haven't told some of our friends. I won't be announcing anything on facebook or social media. I prefer it thay way. But our families took its great! They were just super suprised to learn it would be May that their newest grandchild would be here!

We are 22w 2d pregnant and have no announced on Facebook. He immediate family knows and a handful of friends. We joked about not announcing our pregnancy until our rainbow is two years old. Lol. It really is not a priority for us I guess.

I just announced on Xmas and I'm 4 months. Are you worried that you might miscarry? Is that why you haven't told anyone?
