I got confirmation today that this was a chemical pregnancy and the bleeding is a miscarriage. I was 5w4d, only one day later than symptoms appeared for my previous eventual loss. I started spotting yesterday afternoon and by the evening I was full on bleeding. It's the second day and there's definitely less blood but it's still going. When I went in there was some confusion on their part on how far along I was. They ended up initially not doing a preg test until I explained I would only be runs 5 weeks. Once they did the test it came back negative and my HCG was 4. It crystallized for them then.
