Does anyone know if it is okay to take Zicam if I feel like I'm getting a nasty cold? I've done some online research and I've called my Doctor; all they said was, "We aren't sure about any over the counter medication... But you can take Robotussin." And I'm like... Isn't Robotussin over the counter...? And besides I don't want something to mask my symptoms, I want to take Zicam so I actually get better before worse. It is just a natural chemical, zinc, so in the appropriate daily recommended dosage: is it okay?
