A very good friend of mine posted this last night......he wrote above it "it's just a distraction from the truth" and how the media is "blaming a black man just to distract from the truth at hand"...."we are all following like sheep".

I was completely amazed how many people actually responded back that this Cosby thing is a "distraction". Come on!!!!

A rapist is a rapist....regardless of color, creed, fame, age etc.

He has admitted he drugged women for the purpose of having sex with them.

I suppose since he just so happens to be black, *some* black people (and I'm referring to all the poc that DID respond in the comments-- and yes, every single one of them were black) apparently really find this meme to be true.   
I did not include all the crazy comments they left as I don't know how to block their names. Some went as far to say "he is so old now, what's the purpose of putting him in jail" and "but he's done a lot  for the black community so he shouldn't be put in jail now".

Come on y'all!    Am I living in crazy town here or do some people really find this to be true?

I agree to an extent. I've always been told that while one story is being posted everywhere, the media is distracting us from something else. But that doesn't mean people can not focus on more than one thing at a time. People are a lot smarter than the media thinks we are. Always look for the story they don't want you to know about!

I don't understand why NOT convicting someone isn't just as important to cover as convicting someone. I don't like how no one is talking about this just because the officer wasn't convicted.

This is nothing to do with distraction, whether the man is guilty or innocent. It's simply a case of media seems to sell more or get more clicks on their websites if they talk about a celebrities' scandal than if they talk about another policeman getting away with murder. But you can't blame that on the media. It's the people who buy the stories, read the stories, click the websites.
