Chevy all the way. We own a dually flatbed with Allison transmission for hauling to horse shows and let me tell you that is one beautiful piece of machinery. 😍😍😍😍

We like our extra large Ford F-350 something. It's been around for twenty years now and it's been doing HARD work for all of those years. From Montana farm work to Oregon. The thing is a beast. They discontinued the engine due to it being too expensive (among other things, but I'm not a car expert) to make or something, but my mom got one before they were removed. It's a powerhouse:).

The self proclaimed red necks in sandy always crack jokes about how shitty ford is, but I've seen all of them stuck in the school parking lot or on the side of the highway with truck problems trying to hitch rides. Our truck has yet to falter. Only thing that's broken on it is the driver sides window that won't roll down.

Ford usually makes better trucks but it depends on what it's going to be used for.

I've never known another big name brand that disintegrates faster than Dodge. It's almost comical. We burn thu work trucks and they'll last 2 years if you're lucky. Ford is a ok quick fix for a little longer, but Chevs are the best of the three. They'll look like hell when they finally die but they'll go about 8-12 years it seems.

My parents have had the same Dodge truck for coming up 22 years this May.

Where my one uncle swears by a Chevy.

I don't see why the rivalry is huge. Dodge and Chevy are owned by the same people.

Myself I want a Dodge Nitro, mostly due to it being able to handle rough winters, has 4 wheel drive and plenty of hauling room.

In the end it comes down to what works best for you.

Because I've had the same Chevy since 2000 without any major issues. My husband has had more dodges and fords than I can count on my hands.
