Ovulation test

Hi everyone. I'm new to this and just took my first Ovulation test this morning. It's day 13 in my cycle. My cycles are usually around 30 days- next AF is due 1/20. The ovulation test this morning was negative. I haven't been charting basal temp or CM yet. Should I try a test again later today? Tomorrow?
