Happy new year to me!
I just turned 38 weeks today, haven't been checked at all, but last night I went up to l&d due to pains and they checked me and said I am 1cm dialated and 50% effaced!! Yay! I know, I know- you can stay at 1cm for a long time, but I am SO excited that things are finally starting! It doesn't feel like I'll be pregnant forever anymore..hahahah
