Alot of things aren't recommended but why we ask and actually  do them is all due to the fact because it works for them and for us and as long as baby is safe and kept safe the best way wtars recommended goes out the window for a lot of people

My son is 2 weeks and has bad reflux. He is on meds for it. The dr said DO NOT lay him flat. He sleeps at night swaddled in his rock n play but during the day, he naps in his bouncer.

My son is 5 weeks old and has bad acid reflux, it's the only way he will sleep. As long as they can't suffocate themselves or fall out I see no problem with it. Its better than not sleeping or pulling them in bed with you and potentially rolling on them

Can they? Yes I'm sure they can, but I don't think it's recommended.
