Has anyone gotten pregnant with their first iui cycle??

Curious about this because my husband and I are thinking about doing this, but I'm worried if it doesn't work... We are going to end up spending just as much as ivf

My husband and I are doing our first cycle of IUI this week, combined with taking letrozole cd 5-9 and the ovidrel shot. Hoping it works the first cycle, too!!

I got pregnant on the first round of IUI, had three viable follicles sized 30, 28, and 26.

Unfortunately we did 2 IUIs before we moved to a successful round of ICSI/ IVF.  But I have a few friends who were successful with IUI. Good luck to you!

You're not bothering at all! Most insurances don't cover infertility anyway, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and only some of my ultrasounds and blood draws were covered. Clomid pills are cheap around $15, Ovidrel trigger shots were not covered at all and I paid almost $200 each month for that. My IUI itself was $485, also not covered by insurance.
