So, my fiance was having pain in his testicles and went to urgent care two nights ago. They diagnosed him with epididymitis which is an inflammation of the tube that carries the sperm. It CAN be caused by chlamydia or gonnorhea which is most common but can also be caused by bacteria from a UTI. They treated him with antibiotics and did a urine sample which they haven't called back with results yet. Anyways, we have been together for 3 years and recently got engaged on thanksgiving and are now expecting... I have no reason to believe that this came from cheating but if it did... would the STD show up on my prenatal blood test? And would it cause serious threats to the baby? TIA
