IUD Help!
Has anyone on here used the IUD method of birth control?
What are your stories and experiences?
I have always had extremely bad periods, and have a family history of endometriosis and cysts. However, I have not yet been diagnosed with anything.
I have previously been on 3 types of the pill, none of them helping the situation and only making it worse.
I then tried having the depo injection for about a year and that made me have severe weight gain, although my periods did stop for a while. Even though I wasn't having periods I would have severe cramping at least once a month, if not more and my doctor decided to take me off that injection and any birth control to clear out my system.
I am hoping to see him again sometime this month to go back on a births control of some sort as I am sexually active and don't want to be pregnant at 16.
