Very unexpectedly I started to feel miserable and woke up to problems with my vision 12/28 in addition to swelling and migraines. Called the nurse and she sent me to the hospital the next day. Turns out I had preeclampsia which has not been detected before in any of my tests/appointments. It came on fast and furiously. They gave the baby steroids for her lungs and had to deliver before the second shot as my condition was getting worse. She was 32 weeks and 4lbs and 1 oz and has been doing well. I ended up needing a blood transfusion and hope to go home soon.
