First doctors appt

I have my first fertility doctors appt this week .. Husband and I have been trying to have a baby now for almost a year and no luck. This will be my first child with him. I have a daughter who is 6. I have very long periods but its been the normal for me for 3 years now. Just wondering what should I expect on my first visit....?
