Any pregnancy books out there worth reading?

Molly
First time mom and dad here just wanted to know if any of you already parents or first-timers have read or heard about books that are worth reading.
Also is there any books for just dads? We have classes that he can take for just dads so he can talk about different things with guys and not just me since a lot of his friends have yet to have children.

The classic one is What to expect when you're expecting. I loved reading it during my first pregnancy. They have a section in that book just for dads but I'm sure there are books geared towards dads. Let us know if you find one.

I really enjoyed the girlfriends guide to pregnancy. I couldn't ever get through what to expect when you're expecting. But I did have a your pregnancy week by week that I liked, it was pretty interesting.

That's mostly what I used it for as well. I marked the pages so I could go back and check lol

MY friend suggested this one to me on many occasions as well. I too cannot get into the what to expect book. I did however, like the pages about what food to eat and what foods get me what nutrients etc.

If you're looking for natural birth. .. Ina May's guide to childbirth. Kind of weird but it's been a good read.

My doctor suggested "Expecting 411." It's written by physicians and has been amazing so far!

My sister is also pregnant and sent me this book when she found out we were expecting. It's awesome! I read nearly half of it in one sitting because it was so interesting. There are great pictures of everything as well

Baby Catcher by Peggy Vincent. She's a hippie midwife but the birth stories she recounts are so amazing/funny/suspenseful. Couldn't put it down. You learn about so many birth experiences.
