My parents have literally just broke the news that they want to meet my partner, I'll give you some background as its a tough one. Obviously as I'm posting in this group here's the "issue", I'm 17 and Mark (my SO) is 45, we been together four months and there's been a lot of fights with my parents, I was kicked out and had to live with Mark and considering it was forced upon us both its going really great for us, to the point where I'm used to this life style and not at all willing to crawl back to mommy, he's always said he's willing to meet my parents but after how my step dad has talked about him I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it yet! My step dad said "if he's man enough he will come" but it's me who's not ready, I need some advice because I'm really tense and I don't want Mark to think I'm forcing him to meet them?
