Nexplanon w/ or w/o condom???

I have been using the nexplanon implant since July and I was concerned if it is necessary to use a condom with it?

It's effective in preventing pregnancy without a condom, but does not protect against sexually transmitted infections, so use a condom if there is a risk of contracting any STIs
