I hardly bleed seriously I was shocked!!! I bought those huge overnight supper dupper pads and never needed them. I bled the first few days and it was pretty moderate/light and then started stopping after not lasted about 2 weeks. BUT, I've heard from several friends that they bleed so much they thought they were hemorgining. I have no idea why some people bleed a lot and some only a little...but I do know my placenta wouldn't come out and the dr actually had to remove it with her hands...so not sure if that had something to do with it or not.

I bled pretty heavily for a week and used the maternity pads the hospital gave me then was able to move to store brand heavy pads. I used those for about 2.5 weeks then moved to a regular pad. I stopped bleeding around 5.5 weeks.

It's been 2 1/2 weeks and I'm only spotting now. Heavy bleeding only lasted about a week. I had a vaginal birth.

I bled heavily the first three days. Heavier than a heavy period. Then it was like a normal to light period for about three more days. I stopped bleeding completely after 12 days or so.

I really didn't bleed long at all.... Couple days to a week at the most. I had a c section though so idk how much of a difference that makes, I'm assuming someone who had a vaginal birth would bleed longer.
