Anybody have experience with their baby in the NICU being treated for an infection? My precious baby girl was born 2 days ago. We had a long delivery she was stuck sideways needed a vacuum assisted delivery and I had my water broken for 27 hours and pushed for five. She was born a healthy 6 lbs 14 oz. the next morning after she was born they got blood tests back from her and saw that she was developing an infection and now she's in the NICU for 1-2 more weeks and have to leave the hospital today. Any moms have similar stories I could really use the encouragement this is easily the hardest thing I have ever had to go through in my life.
