When are you really set?

So, I have had my IUD for almost 6 months and love it. My fiancé and I have talked about kids (but not for another 3-4 years). How do you know when you are really financially ready?

You never know! But I think as long as you aren't living pay check to pay check, don't struggle when bills pop up, always have clothes, food and a roof over your head, plus a bit left over for yourselves, you're doing alright.

My brother always say nobody is ever ready when you have your own place and enough money to not struggle that's as ready as you can be.
