Hi all! So I took a pregnancy test just now and it looked negative and I was like okay but then when the full 3 minutes were up I looked back and though I saw a faint line. I saw it and then looked back and looked again and didn't see it. Am I crazy?!

So because I want to drive myself insane, I tested a few hours later after about a 3 hour hold, and no drinking.  I waited the full 3 minutes before letting myself even look at the test and believe I caught a glimpse of a super faint line.  Hopefully I didn't grab a bad box of tests :/

I also believe its urine pooled under the test strip. That's what mine looked like and when you hold it up to the light you can see a line on both sides of the pink line. These test are horrible!  Good luck! Retest!

I see a faint shadow like about to start re test in like 2 to 3 days.

Yeah. I've gotten that too on these. It's the dye running through it , sometimes u can catch that second wave it does when it's trying to pop a positive if hcg is present. If it doesn't there unfortunately isn't any present to pop the positive up.

Also, only other times I've seen them with these tests are when it's an indent (but those usually stick around a little longer ) or I've seen it happen if I'm picking my test up to look at it.....(keep it flat and no touchie for at least 10 minutes). It's the urine under the strip moving around.
