Coconut oil for stretch marks?

I've heard that coconut oil prevents stretch marks. 
But my question is how do you put it on your skin and it not stain your clothes or get all greasy? 
I'm 18 weeks along and would like to start using coconut oil. :)

Nothing will prevent them. They are mostly genetic. Moisturizing will help lessen them, but there is no products that will stop them if they are ment to be.

I use coconut oil for lots of body products. Just rub a little on and give it a few mins to absorb before getting dressed.

If you use it, just buy some other lotion, put it in the blender with the coconut oil & mix it up. That way it's not too greasy but you're still getting it

I don't believe that using oil it will prevent stretch marks. I had a huge belly and never used anything and no stretch marks. If you look it up there's no proof it prevents it but if you choose to use it layer up and use a towel on the bed. Good luck and congrats!

I have two or three shirts I use when I put the oil on:) two are under shirts and one is for sleeping at night. Also when I wash those shirts I use hot water and sometimes wash then twice in a row if they're extra oily still. 
I also really have enjoyed using baby oil right after a shower, you'll need to set aside a shirt for that too but it makes yo skin SO SO soft and its affordable! I'm 31 weeks and no stretch marks at all so far. I use the baby oil after every shower and the coconut oil when I'm feeling dry throughout the day (which isn't everyday)

I started using coconut oil from 20 weeks and am now six weeks post partum with no stretch marks on my stomach (the only place I used it) wish I'd used it on my legs now too!

Logic dictates that really any oil should work. That being said, my mum used mustard oil (advised by her mom). We are four siblings and she has no stretch marks. I mean to use mustard oil myself.
