When he introduce you to his friends

So I've been dating this guy for a month and his introduced me to his best friend, we all had drinks . He kind of invited him without asking me . It was a fun night all and all , and after an ex that didn't introduce me for a year I don't know what to make of this. He was very loving in front of his friend holding my hand kissing me so not hiding that we have something going on as well. Help me understand is this normal?
