Birthmark?

Could this be a birthmark or something else?

That's called stork bites. I believe almost all babies get them. They're nothing to worry about. For the most part they will go away but for some people they don't. Ask your baby's doctor for more information - mine never really gave me much but just to assure me that they aren't bad.

My son has 3 of them.  They are stork marks.  Mine has a large one on the back of his head, one on his neck like your baby and one on his forehead.  He also had one under his nose but that is gone now.  He's 4 months.  I also had them when I was born.  They fade and dispaear.   I've heard that the ones on the head sometimes remain though.  I love his marks.  💙

I was told when my dd was in the hospital it's called a stork bite and it does eventually go away. My dd has it on the back of her neck still but it's faded so much and she had it on her eye lid but that one did go away I thought it was a bruise do didn't think anything about it. I'm not worried about it cuz the hospital Dr's weren't and her dr isn't. I'll worry when they worry.
